Hey, I’m Amy!

Few things you might need to know about me:

1. I love tacos, guacamole & corn chips and large carafes of Tinto Sangria (and just red wine in general quite honestly). So don’t be surprised if I arrange our first catchup at a Mexican restaurant - its no accident…

2. I’m obsessed with the Ocean (hence why I moved to be close to it). I surf and also do some underwater + Surf photography.

3. I also teach Yoga, so if I’m challenged to a handstand competition, I am unable to refuse. I also used to dance so you can bet i’ll be tearing up the D-floor with ya come reception time ;)

4. My spirit animal is a Seal… Do what you will with that information.

5. Favourite things in the whole world are Daniel (my partner) and our Blue Heeler pup Pipit - the lights of my life!

Finding Your Wedding Photographer…

Your Photographer is one of the only people who will be with you from start till finish, so being able to open up and be yourself around them will make the entire process feel effortless! Choose someone who you feel you can be yourself around, that makes the entire process enjoyable and fun, someone you can laugh with and (in my case) share a carafe of sangria with ;)

When I come on board as your photographer, I don’t see it as merely snapping away with my camera, though creating images you love is definitely my main call to action. I’ll laugh hysterically with you till our belly’s ache, I’ll tie groomsmen’s bowties when they realise no one researched how. I adjust veils and fluff dresses. I sit with you and remind you to take some deep breaths when you’re feeling overwhelmed, pin back hair that has fallen out of place, dab away tears and hold your hand as you feel all the rushes of emotion. I’ll remind you to take a moments to actually look around you and be in all the moments that make up this epic day and this epic journey.
