Catherine and Samuel // Muriwai Wedding Photographer

Catherine and Sam! I have no words to describe you two! Actually, I have a million - I could seriously rave on about how wonderful this power couple is FOREVER and it still wouldn't be enough to summaries how amazing they are.

After a dinner date at Mexico for our first meeting - getting tipsy on Sangria and nom-ing all the fried chicken, and then exploring my backyard of Piha on their Engagement Shoot, I was literally counting the days till I got to watch them tie the knot. It felt like I was heading out to spend the day with two old mates and to watch them get hitched - and I just also happened to have the immense pleasure of documenting it all and being part of the little moments of the day that not everyone gets to experience. And gosh, It really is something I'm so grateful for. The fact that my couples are on the same wave length with me in the sense we become the bestest of pals before the day is even on. Seriously, how am I so lucky to meet such amazing people who feel like long lost friends and get to be part of the best day ever. I have to check myself everyday to be sure its all real because I really do have the best job in the World.

Camuel! ;) Im so grateful to have you both in my life - You are the most hilarious, sweet, kind and genuinely dope as heck people I know and Im so stoked to call you both friends! I love you both so damn much and Im so happy you have found each other - you guys are well and truly made for each other!

Alisha and Andrew: West Coast Engagement

So I might just be a little (a lot) obsessed with the west coast, those who know me, know its no secret. And I think I might have just discovered a new favourite spot!

Alisha, Andrew and I (The A team) set out one afternoon to explore a waterfall 15 minutes from Muriwai. We wandered through bush for about 30 minutes before reaching the beautiful cascading falls of Mokoroa and Oh boy was it worth it! I give Auckland way to much flak for not being as pretty as the southern alps or as warm as the Northland beaches, but it really does have its own uniqueness and exploring the west coast should definitely be on anyones list of "Must do's" when visiting NZ. Its wild, and ethereal and mysterious and will steal your heart the moment you step out into its wilderness.

I had such a blast exploring with these two, it was so wonderful to head out without any preconceived ideas of where to go and what to shoot, It was an adventure for them just as much as it was for me and they took everything it threw in their stride. On arriving to Muriwai the rain rolled in, in the form of a thick mist, we got absolutely drenched, but then again, how many times do you get to kiss the love of your life in the rain without a care in the world?

I cannot wait to watch these guys get married! You're both absolute legends and I cannot wait for the adventures to come!
